Beaufort- shrimping and engagements!!!!!

Beaufort- So two weeks after Rob and I got back from Europe we made the trip down south.

Family, fishing, shrimping, boating, relaxing and a surprise proposal. We had such a wonderful time. The beautiful trees full of spanish moss are just amazing to look at and provide such an escape from our hectic city life. I could not stop taking photos..........

SHRIMPING
Rob making bait balls with no gloves. Eeewwwwww
Ryan and Rob hard at work throwing the net.

The outcome.
Seasoned and boiled. Yummmmm!!!!

This was the first time Rob has worn a lizard as an earring. Guess this is not a yankee child's common outdoor activity.

Settled in our kayaks for a photo finally....... A few minutes after we got in our kayaks and I assured Rob we would not get wet, he flipped his and floated down the waterway. Dad and uncle Tracy had to come save him. Hilarious!!!! That is the last time he will listen to me.

THE PROPOSAL
soooooooooooo happy!!!!
And on a perfect beautiful evening the surprise got even better.........
Melissa's mom was secretly hiding at our aunt and uncle's house waiting for the arrival of the newly engaged.
Happy gals.
And one tired fiance.

Why I Love Fall

Pumpkin seeds
Relaxing in the park......shoes off and a bottle of wine

Fall softball. Ummm, I showed up to this game to WATCH and I ended up playing in my work pants, some girl's Crocks that were too big, a guy's shirt and a catcher's mask the continuous slid down on my face. Let's just say I didn't catch very many balls, but we did win the game!

Renaissance Fairs!

Europe 2009!!!!!!

For Rob's 30th birthday we both given a wonderful gift........a cruise through the Mediterranean! We stopped in Malta, Naples, Rome, Tuscany and Cannes. It was absolutely amazing!!!

First stop- Barcelona! Well we actually flew into Barcelona and stayed for a night before boarding the ship. It is a beautiful city and has the bluest skies you have ever seen. Our hotel was awesome! I definitely hope to go back some day.
Fresh squeezed orange juice (got mine in hand).

Tiny cups of coffee, but it tastes delicious!

Down by the beach. Yes, topless beach!
