Happy Birthday to Me!

Ahhhhhhh!!!! I'm 28 and........... it is freezing out!!!! Today I did nothing and justified it because it was my birthday. That's okay right? Anyway, Rob and I planned to go to my favorite sushi restaurant, but it was CLOSED! What a bummer. Instead we went to a Japanese steakhouse where I could get a little sushi and some steak and fried rice, yum! Well we ate a lot (and are now feeling crappy) and then just came home and watched our netflix. Just a nice relaxing evening with my honey.

Unemployed- day 2

Today we (me, Jack and Yoda) did a whole lot of lounging (aka- nothing). Clearly you can tell based on this first picture. We slept until about 11 and then parked it on the couch to watch hours of tv, skype with friends and shoot some wedding emails. Some pics to narrate my day.

NO MORE SNOW!!!!!!!

Okay, so there has pretty much been snow on the ground since we got back from SC in December. It is crazy!!! I have lived in the northeast for 6 years and never has there been a winter like this. Not only is there tons of snow, but Rob and I made the move out to the suburbs and when it snows YOU ARE STUCK!!! Living in Manhattan you don't deal (nor think about) with the shoveling, digging and scraping that is necessary in order to just pull your car out it's parking spot. Now we know and now we HAVE TO DEAL!

So, Rob secretly researched cameras (I have been talking about one of these for probably a year now) in order to surprise me with one for my 28th (wow I'm getting up there) birthday, ain't he sweet?!  Well below are a few shots taken in the standard "auto" setting and look how good they look. I can't wait to see how clear the shots will be once I learn to use all the different settings.

Oh I've Been Hiding Again!!

There is a lot to share, but let me get this quick post in for my pops. Rob and I recently brought Captain Jack, my kitty from college, up to live with us. I think Dad doesn't want to admit how much he misses him. I can tell, so I thought I'd share a little video for you Dad. Yoda and Jack love each other and are very nice company for one another.
