Summing up January thru May

January- Christie visits NYC and we take on the town. Friday and Saturday we went to some of our favorite spots: Brother Jimmy's, Afghan Kabob (a BYOB middle eastern restaurant), The View and a few others. We then took a limo out to Long Island for a day long trip to some wineries. In between it all was a lot of walking and sight seeing. It was a blast!!!!!!

March- Rob and I make a trip down to Charleston for Mary's wedding; however, we took a Savannah detour on the way. We did two whole days of walking all over Savannah taking a zillion pictures of all the beautiful homes and historical landmarks. It truly is gorgeous place. We toured 5 houses and ate at Paula Dean's restaurant Lady and Sons. We also did a haunted bus tour was pretty neat and spooky. It was an absolutely wonderful experience.

Now in Charleston we went to the markets and then took a long walk to see the battery and all those amazing homes (Pat and Melissa were not ready for all the walking we had planned for that day, but they toughed it out). We even toured the house of John C. Calhoun which was very interesting. We attended Mary's wedding which was beautiful. The church was perfect for the ceremony and she looked great! It was so much fun for all of us girls to be back together again.
